What We Do

Beginning in late 2008, we'll lobby the West Virginia legislature, the governor and state agencies to insure fundamental fairness through the state. 

News

March 6, 2008: Fairness WV,  endorses Senate Bill 600 and urges the House of Delegates to pass it.  West Virginia needs to create an environment that will provide employers with a talented and diverse employment pool.  433 of the Fortune 500 companies have banned unfair discrimination in the workplace. 

We commend the courage and leadership of the West Virginia Senate in passing, unanimously, this historic legislation.  At the same time, we recognize the courage of the House Judiciary Committee for passing it out.  We now ask the House to focus its attention on attracting twenty-first century economic development  to West Virginia and pass the bill.
