Free Webinar for WV Teachers: How to Support LGBTQ Students
It’s no secret that LGBTQ students still struggle with harassment and bullying, but many of us underestimate how prevalent it is. About 85 percent of LGBTQ students say they face harassment at school, and this harassment contributes to a higher rate of drug use, depression, and suicide. Educators have unique access to young LGBTQ people and they can intervene and prevent this harassment.
