Friends of Fairness,
We’re a little more than two weeks out from our Roaring 20s Gala, and I wanted to make sure you know that tickets are selling fast. We’d love for you to join us to celebrate all the work we’ve accomplished together, so don’t forget to grab your ticket ASAP.
I’m also excited to unveil our annual silent auction. This is the most impressive line-up of packages we’ve ever had up for auction, and you won’t believe the deals. We’re excited to offer more than a dozen travel experiences this year, including international trips and a series of in-state getaways curated to fit your style.
Escape to the Big Apple with our Sex and The City Experience. The winner of this package will enjoy a free stay and breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn, located just two blocks over from the Empire State building. You’ll journey through NYC’s Museum of Sex, a one-of-a-kind museum that explores sexuality throughout time and in different cultures. You’ll also be treated to gift cards to three restaurants featured on the hit Sex and the City show — Cowgirl, Il Cantinori and Magnolia bakery.
If big city life isn’t your thing, check out the Gay Key West Experience and plan your next vacation by the ocean. The winner of this luxury travel package will enjoy a 3-night stay for two at this tropical sanctuary and crowning jewel internationally known as a top LGBTQ vacation spot. This city celebrates openness and pride. You’ll be treated like a VIP with a stay at Alexander’s Guesthouse, an intimate hotel that specializes in welcoming LGBTQ people.

We’re so thankful for all of the local artists and businesses who’ve donated other items this year. You can start bidding right now — and you don’t even have to attend our gala to participate!
Our auction is being run entirely through an online platform, which means you can bid from home or in-person at the event. Check back to the website on the night of the event, though, because the auction will close at 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 9.
I hope to see you there!
Yours in Fairness,
Andrew Schneider
Executive Director
P.S. — These sponsors share in our vision for a better West Virginia, and we’re proud to have their support.
